The gist of the précis is to capture the essence of the Paulo Freire's argument in "The 'Banking' Concept of Education," NOT THE FREIRE INTERVIEW CLIP in Module 1, and to detail it to the best of your abilities, all in a meager four sentences. You'll want to follow the 4-sentence précis format judiciously, then, as reviewed in class, and especially pay attention to the boldfaced terms in the handout that are specific to each sentence, since I'll need to see those in your precis. Also, for those of you who get closer to the mark regarding the author's implied argument, the higher your score will be.
